The purpose of this policy is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information that the website collects and the methods of their use.
Scope of application, sources and data subject to processing

Data collected through Cookies

Data collected through First Party Technical Cookies
While browsing the public areas of the website, Sentinel CH. S.p.A. uses technical, standard and session cookies, which do not allow the storage of personal data, nor allow to trace and/or know directly the identity of the users.
When a user returns to visit the website with the same device, the information saved in the cookies recorded on their device in the previous session will be transmitted to the website (by so-called “First Party Cookies”).

Data collected through First Party Analytical Cookies
Sentinel CH. S.p.A. uses statistical services through first-party analytical cookies. Unlike third-party cookies, which are created by web servers other than that of the website visited, first-party cookies are created and analysed by the Sentinel website’s web server.
In particular, Sentinel CH. S.p.A. uses Matomo, a software licensed by the company Innocraft LTD (InnoCraft – Matomo Plugins Marketplace) to analyse and improve the functionality of the website and guarantee its correct functioning (for example, to identify browsing problems or to guarantee sufficient server capacity).
Matomo allows you to keep track of accesses to the Website and, to the administrators of the same, to generate and view data in aggregate and anonymous form, in order to understand the use that visitors make of the Website and to compile statistics.
Matomo requires, for its own functioning, the presence on the pages of the Website of a so-called tracking code or cookie. The purpose of this code is to identify, for the purposes highlighted below, the pages visited by users during the browsing session on the Website.
In addition to the pages visited, the data collected may also include, by way of example but not limited to, the domain names and browser types of the computers used to connect to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, parameters concerning the operating system and the computer environment used by you.
The statistics obtained allow Sentinel CH. S.p.A. to improve the contents of the website and make it more interesting for users. These data do not, in any case, allow the identity of the users to be established because the IP address is automatically anonymised. For the methods of their processing and for their nature, the data collected and processed are to be considered anonymous, therefore, their processing does not require the user’s consent.
Matomo guarantees that users’ information will not be transferred and will, therefore, remain entirely with Sentinel. Matomo guarantees that Sentinel CH. S.p.A. can always decide which data to collect and which computer centres to use for data storage.
The data collected through the use of anonymised analytical cookies are necessary to analyse and improve the functionality and content of the website. Disabling them makes navigation by the user less pleasant.
The data are processed pursuant to art. 6, subsection 1, letter a) of the GDPR, based on the user’s express consent collected by opt-in before the user’s browsing data are recorded. The user can stop the recording of data at any time, by opting-out . In any case, the data will be kept for 6 months.

Data collected by third parties through Google Maps plug-in services

These parties shall process the data in their capacity as autonomous data controllers.
Methods of processing, communication and distribution of the data

Transfer of data

In any case, it is understood that the Data Controller, if necessary, will have the right to move the servers, including outside the EU. - revoke consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis for the processing;
- oppose, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data concerning them, including data relevant to the purpose of collection.
